Sett Valley Medical Centre is a Training Practice and we help with the training of GPs and medical students. Training is fully supervised and confidential.
Medical students
We work with Manchester University. Medical students may spend time at the practice as part of their training. You may be asked if a student can sit in during your appointment.
If you would prefer the student not to be present, please tell the doctor at the start of your appointment. This will not affect your care in any way.
GP registrars
GP Registrars are fully qualified doctors who are undertaking training to specialise as a GP. They see patients on their own but have a GP supervisor who will support them.
