    Patients over the age of 55 no longer need to be referred by their GP and can self-refer for hearing aid assessment and fitting .

    Chesterfield NHS Service – patients have to ring 01246 514 403 to make appointment in a local clinic.

    Patients over the age of 55 can use Specsavers as long as they have not been supplied with a hearing aid on the NHS within the last 3 years.

    You can contact Specsavers on the number above to make an appointment. They may request your NHS number which you can obtain from our reception team to give to Specsavers.

    Exclusions:
    Patients under the age of 55 or with one sided hearing loss or complex hearing problems cannot self-refer for hearing aids need to see GP for referral.
